Delhi Daredevils Players Review – Delhi IPL 2010 Team
For the last two editions, Delhi Daredevils have put up a consistent performance as they made the semi-finals on both the occasions. This time also as the IPL return to its home land, Delhi Daredevils will surely targeting nothing but the winner’s crown.
Under new captain Gambhir, who was elevated after Sehwag decided to step down, Daredevils will bring a fresh approach and will look to get over their disappointing campaign in the inaugural Champions League.
They have one of the best batting line-up in the league. The presence of some of the most destructive batsmen in the world like local lads Virender Sewhag and Gambhir and Sri Lankan Tillakaratne Dilshan will surely give them the favorites tag.
They also have a excellent bowling battery and Ferozeshah Kotla for the first time will see the return of local boy Ashish Nehra, who made an excellent return to international cricket. In the first year, Nehra turned out for Mumbai Indians and in the second he was instrumental in Daredevils’ run to the semi-finals in South Africa. But it is still to be seen if legendary Australian fast bowler Glenn McGrath returns for the third season.
In the recent past, all the Daredevils players are in fine form and come March they would be ready and will come out blazing all guns.
