The IPL auction 2010 scheduled for 19th January 2010 had about 96 players in total initially with 26 of them from Pakistan alone.

The list also includes the 8 English players – Tim Bresnan, Eoin Morgan, Rob Key, Anthony McGrath, Monty Panesar, Mark Ramprakash, Graeme Swann and Jonathan Trott.

IPL reject Chris Cairns’ application as he was charged of Match-Fixing. The IPL (Indian Premier League) governing council has rejected the application of Chris Cairns. The former New Zealand cricketer stands alleged of match-fixing in the rebel ICL series, and it was this charge of match-fixing which made the IPL governing body reject Cairns’ application for next year’s auctions that are scheduled to be held in January 2010.
