Shah rukh Khan denies thinking of selling KKR

by staff on September 3, 2010

Kolkata Knight Riders owner, Shah rukh Khan has said that the team owners are not looking to sell any kind of stake in the team. Kolkata Knight Riders is an IPL team which is co-owned by Shah rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and her husband, Jai Mehta.

Shah rukh Khan denied that there was any truth in the rumours that the Kolkata Knight Riders wanted to sell out any stake in Red Chillies Entertainment, the company, that owns the team. However, Shah rukh Khan did say that if they did sell out, it would be for strategic reasons more than anything else.

Earlier, the Kings XI Punjab, which is co-owned by Preity Zinta did say that they were looking at suitable buyers for their team. However, it was also said that while the likes of Ness Wadia and Mohit Burman may sell out their stake, Ms. Zinta will look to keep the stake with herself. She will look to play of the brand ambassador of the team.
